If you already own SVP, and are just upgrading to the suite, your license renewal date stays the same as it was.
For current owners your license renewal date is not changed.
You are being rebated for your license, hence are not buying a new license.
But if you are upgrading from SVP basic to SVP plus, you are benefiting from an upgraded license interim of your renewal date!

PRODUCT LICENSE RENEWAL POLICIES

All software products manufactured by Red Zebra Media, Inc. & Simple Video PRO™ are licensed on an annual fee basis, unless specifically noted otherwise.

While we take steps to ensure you are given opportunity to renew within our stated policy, the responsibility for renewal remains the onus of the buyer.

All software, unless otherwise stated, is subject to renewal 365 days after initial purchase, and is to be renewed every year thereafter.

Rates for renewal are price protected for first the years renewal only. Hence if you buy on January 4th, 2000, your license will expire on January 5th, 2001.

In the case above, you will have 30 days from the date of January 5th, 2001 to be eligible to renew at the rate you paid initially to buy the software in January 2000.

If you miss the 30 day renewal grace period, you will need to renew at current prices.

After year two ALL renewals are at current market rates.

In order to continue to bring you innovative updates and new features, annual licenses are necessary.

If you do NOT renew, for as long as the software continues to function normally, you are entitled to continue using it.

We don’t shut off software if you don’t renew, you just don’t get free updates.

All licenses retain their original renewal dates unless otherwise specified in writing.
Any licenses attached to, or forming part of an upgraded and/or purchased "bundled" package and/or rebated (or portion thereof) program or package will

retain their original license renewal dates unless otherwise specified in writing.

Camtasia and/or Techsmith Product License Renewal Policies

All Techsmith products bought through us are subject to the same 1 year renewal, upgrade, and support policies as if you bought directly from Techsmith.
All Techsmith terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without notice.
We will endeavor to update this site as often as needed, but you are ultimately responsible for staying apprised after purchase.
